PASTORAL COMMISSION

Vision

Inspired by the Trinitarian Community of the Triune God, we envision ourselves to be effective agents of transformation through the building of Basic Ecclesial Communities (BECs) in our Vicariate.

Mission

We commit ourselves to enrich our faith and commitment by Bible reflection, sharing and witnessing as we work in team sustaining and supporting our commission by developing the needed skills relevant to the signs of the time.

We reach out and animate our co-pastoral workers and Christian communities in the implementation of our Basic Ecclesial Community programs in the mission stations of Kalinga and Apayao.

The AVT Pastoral Programs Team has a very important role in the animation of the Parishes in the Vicariate in terms of the building of Basic Ecclesial Communities. It is imperative that they work closely with each of the Parish Pastoral Councils especially in terms of leadership formation and parish pastoral management. They have to be equipped with the necessary knowledge and formation on community organizing.
